PlanADate believes in being upfront about how we make money. This page is our affiliate disclosure, provided in the spirit of the U.S. Federal Trade Commission (FTC) endorsement guidelines.
The short version
Some of the links on PlanADate are affiliate links. If you click one and make a purchase, we may earn a commission — at no extra cost to you. You never pay more because you came through PlanADate; the partner simply shares a small part of the sale with us.
Who our partners are
When a plan suggests something you can buy — flowers, movie tickets, a ride to your reservation — we may include an affiliate link to a partner such as:
- 1-800-Flowers and related gifting brands (flowers, chocolates, and gift baskets)
- Fandango (movie tickets)
- Uber and Lyft (rideshare to and from your date)
- Other ticketing, dining, and experience partners we add over time
How this affects our recommendations
It doesn't. Affiliate commissions help keep PlanADate free to start and fund ongoing development, but they do not change which venues or activities our AI suggests. Plans are built from venue data and your inputs — vibe, budget, location, and timing — not from who pays us the most. We would rather recommend the right spot than the one with the bigger payout.
How to spot an affiliate link
Affiliate links point to a partner's website (for example, a 1-800-Flowers or Fandango product page). Clicking one takes you off PlanADate to that partner, where their own pricing, terms, and privacy policy apply. You are never obligated to use an affiliate link — feel free to search for any venue or product directly.
Your trust matters
We share this disclosure because your trust is worth more than any commission. If a recommendation ever feels off, you can ignore it, remix the plan, or reach out to us directly.
